About

Introduction
sfadams.com is the personal portfolio and creative outlet of Steven F. Adams. That’s me. I am passionate about Web design, Web usability, social media, Internet marketing, Graphic design, Video editing and Photography. I currently own and operate a freelance design studio, 316 Design, a company I started back in 2005. If you would like to see some of the work done there visit 316 Design. In Jan 2012 I launched my next venture, Bass Angler Headquarters, a business model I had been brainstorming on for many years. This site will feature work from both of those businesses. Whenever possible I may also blog about topics in around the subjects of web design, web usability, social media, internet marketing, graphic design, logo design, photography and video. I hope you will feel free to participate and join the conversation.

History
I founded my first company Adams Advertising sometime in 1998 while working at Pro Comp Suspension. At the time I was doing a quite a bit of freelance work in the evenings and on weekends and I needed a name. Adams Advertising was basically an entity under which I conducted freelance business. I continued taking on small outside projects while working at Pro Comp and in December of 2001, I left Pro Comp to dedicate my full attention to Adams Advertising. In August of 2005 after deciding I didn’t want to be an advertising agency but rather focus on what I thought I did best, design, I changed the name to 316 Design. This also made it easier for me to do sub-contract work for Advertising agencies. In Jan 2012 I launched my next venture, Bass Angler Headquarters.

With this blog I hope to contribute as often as posible to the Graphic, Web Design, Social Media communities and “Join the Conversation”.
